Kathryn Mayorga, the former teacher who has accused footballer Cristiano Ronaldo of raping her in 2009, was inspired to speak out by the #MeToo movement, her lawyer has said. "The MeToo movement and the women who have stood up and disclosed sexual assaults has given Kathryn a lot of courage," Leslie Stovall said.

Ronaldo has "firmly" denied assaulting Ms. Mayorga at a Las Vegas hotel. He spoke out ahead of her lawyers giving a press conference on Wednesday. The Juventus forward, 33, said he was calm over "any and all investigations" as he had a "clear" conscience over the allegation.

This news first broke out when Ronaldo was still not over with the fact that he recently was a father of a twin. Kathryn Mayorga says she was attacked by the Portuguese footballer in a hotel room in the US city that year. Juventus forward Ronaldo, 33, has dismissed the claim, first reported in Germany's Der Spiegel, as "fake news".

His representatives said he would take legal action against the magazine. Der Spiegel said Ms Mayorga, 34, filed a report with Las Vegas police shortly after the alleged incident.

In 2010, she reportedly reached an out-of-court settlement with Ronaldo involving a $375,000 (£288,000) payment for agreeing never to go public with the allegations. Her lawyers are now seeking to declare the non-disclosure agreement void.

 Las Vegas police confirmed they had investigated a complaint in June 2009, but added they had no suspect in the case. "At the time the report was taken, the victim did not provide detectives with the location of the incident or suspect description," a statement said. "As of September 2018, the case has been reopened and our detectives are following up on information being provided," it added.

Although Ronaldo denies the case, he dismissed it as "fake news" accusations by a US woman who alleges she was raped by the Portuguese footballer in 2009.

In an Instagram video, Ronaldo said: "They want to promote [themselves] by [using] my name. It's normal."

Ronaldo's lawyers say they will sue Germany's Der Spiegel magazine, which originally reported the allegations. The magazine wrote that Kathryn Mayorga had claimed Ronaldo, 33, raped her in a hotel room in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Aden Ocampo-Gomez said in October that in 2009 Mayorga made a complaint but did not provide an assailant's name or the location of the alleged assault. She wanted only to report a sexual assault and submit to a medical exam, he said.

 Investigators did not follow up with Mayorga and the case was closed shortly thereafter, he said. But the evidence, including images and other information from the exam, is still with police. The case was reopened at the request of Mayorga or someone representing her, Ocampo-Gomez said in October.

 Las Vegas police did not comment on Thursday. Mayorga's lawsuit accuses Ronaldo and his camp of taking advantage of her fragile emotional state to coerce her into signing a settlement and nondisclosure agreement in 2009. She claims she received $375,000 in exchange for her silence. Her lawsuit seeks to void the settlement and agreement.

Unfortunately, though , we don't always follow our gut. sometimes when we are passionate about something or in some kind of bind, we tend to think a lot about the "what, where, when, how and why" of the situation, to the point that it becomes unproductive.It happens to the best of us.Overthinking is natural enemy of efficiency because it prevents us from  getting things done.A Bawse should know when to take the time to think something through and when to simply make quick decision.

Going in circles will never get you anywhere (unless you are the Earth, in which case you are all right). For examples, your boyfriend tells you he wants to talk, Before you call him, you spend forty minute thinking about how  the conversation will play out. What if he cheated on me?what if i accidentally cheated on him and i didn't realize it? May be  I am on TMZ! Or what if he has cancer ?OMG! He is actually robot. I knew it.I'm dating the robot from the big Hero 6! None of this thought are helpful.What you need to simply pick up the phone and call your boyfriend.
